This year Sibiu was called the European Capital of Culture, therefore Sibiu County Council launched, at the end of July, a virtual guide of the city which can be accessed in Romanian or in English. Council representatives said that the guide can be accessed from the info centers in the city.
At this time, the guide’s portal is not active because of the database transfer to another server. Meanwhile, you can download a 3D demo version of the guide from here (123 Mb, .exe). Despite the fact that all the good things are first criticized, I can only be glad that digital guides are popularized in the Romanian tourism industry.
